Be a Stranger. Join Random Strangers Jam Select Thursdays Fall 2025 at Sugar Mouse in Manhattan's East Village for a fully improvised psychedelic funk rock jam session led by Sky Demetri and his band, Alex Tovar, Samario Hardy, and Maggie Loar. It is free and open to all musicians in New York City.

Come prepared to create new music on the spot - every 5-7 minutes, half the band takes a seat and is replaced by musicians from the audience, the new group of random strangers picks a key and kick off a fresh jam segment.

The sign up sheet becomes available in person at Sugar Mouse 30 mins before the event start.

All jammers must sign in on the official sign up sheet (this is in addition to any online RSVP).
